Joseph Kimon Jackson, age 46, was born June 24, 1978, to Nathlyne Jackson and Joseph Lee Jackson Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri at Research Medical Center.
He was a lifelong resident of the Greater Kansas City area.
Joseph attended Metro Technical High School and later received his General Education Diploma. After receiving his GED, he went to trade school to obtain a Culinary Arts Certificate. Joseph had a passion for cooking and used his skills to obtain a job at St. Mary's food kitchen as a cook. He loved serving and feeding the homeless and playing with the children. He has also worked for many other employers and took pride in the work he did while employed.
Joseph was also die-hard Kansas City sports fan, he loved the Chiefs, Royals and the Kansas Jayhawks Men's Basketball Team. Joseph also loved writing music, rapping, singing, drawing, and telling jokes. He was one of a kind, very talented, smart, and intelligent.
No one wouldn't believe how smart he was in Jeopardy. As many would know, Joseph loved hanging out with family, especially with all his siblings. There wasn't a day he missed without checking on everyone and letting us all know he loved us. To know Joseph was to love him. We are going to miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother Nathlyne Jackson, his father Joseph L. Jackson. Maternal Grandparents Delores J. Mercer and Nathaniel Holliman. Paternal Grandparents Frances J. Brackson and Joseph L. Jackson Sr. and younger brother Sylvester Roberts. He leaves to cherish his two sisters, Michell Hughes (Willie) of Kansas City, MO and Synardia Peoples of Miami, Florida, four brothers, Kevin L. Jackson (Leresa), Karl L. Jackson (LaWanda), Jermaine A. Holliman, and Quince R. Finley all of Kansas City, Missouri. He also leaves behind a special Aunt, Constance Britton (Vincent) of Blue Springs, Missouri, and a host of other uncles, aunts, nephews, Nieces, cousins and friends.
