Jossie Mae (Westmoreland) Doss passed away on August 29, 2021. She was born to Eria Westmoreland & Albertha Westmoreland in Bruce, Mississippi on March 03,1942.
Jossie was preceded in death by both parents as well as the Love of her Life Elijah Robert Web. One son Bernard Doss, One sister Elosie Griffin, two brothers Luster Woodard, Terry Westmoreland and a granddaughter Janeka Doss and a great grandson James L Doss, Jr.
Jossie graduated from Bruce High School. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was a member at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church Located In Kansas City, Mo. Momma Joe loved traveling, fishing, cooking, gardeing, and cooking. Momma loved to host family night, Her house was the place to be. Her family was her world. Momma had such a beautiful smile, it was contagious. Momma could brighten a sad face with her beautiful smile. If you had the pleasure to meet Momma Joe you know the love she gave was pure and genuine. One of Mom's favorite quotes was " Never Turn A Hungry Stomach Away". She opened her door to whoever needed a hot meal or a place to lay their head . She was loving, kindhearted and passionate.
Jossie leaves to cherish her memories to her children Linda Doss, Bertha Doss, Renay Abron (Derrick) , Lorriane Doss, James Doss (Erica) , Eria Doss (Carmen). Two sisters Willie Pittman & Katherine Westmoreland. Her best friend Shirley huddelston. Jossie was blessed to raise a few kids as her own. Edward Bradley, Percy Doss, Ariayonna Doss, Eria Doss, Jr Montay Fisher, Finis Richardson. A host of grandkids, great grandkids, great great grandkids, Nieces, Nephews family and friends
