Joyce Alameda Clark was born April 8, 1934 to the Woody Staden and Nellie Mae (Staden) Hardy in Junction City, Kansas.
Being an Army Brat spent her childhood traveling with her family settling in Lawrence, Kansas. Was very proud of the fact her Dad, Woody was one of the original Black Buffalo Soldiers.
Graduated from Lawrence High School in 1952 and moved to Kansas City, Mo in 1957.
Lived briefly in Denver, Colorado and San Jose, California during the 1980’s, and then returning to Kansas City, Mo. where she was a faithful member of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. Finally relocated to Topeka, Kansas in 1996.
She leaves to cherish her memory; Daughter Tina Dudley, Grandchildren: Raymonda (Rae) Kimber (Jimmie), Marie Brown, Mesha Davis, Gerron Dudley, Kameron Brown and Karter J. Davis McCain.
Brothers Donald Staden (Luella), Ronald Staden (LaVerne) Sisters Annette Kirkendoll, Gloria Kay Stewart (John L.), Leona Wright, Alicia Gaitan (Rivero). Host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
