Joyce Marie Warren

Joyce M. Warren, 73, passed away on May 19, 2024, at Ignite Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. She was born on August 5,1950, to O.C. Gillyard and Ophelia Gillyard.

She grew up in Clayton, LA. She graduated from Sevier High School in Ferriday, LA. After High School she attended Friends University in Overland Park, KS. where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree.

She began working for Gulf Insurance as an Underwriter where she worked for 30 years. She retired in 2013 after 30 years. She then was involved in the real estate community.

She married Andrew Warren on August 22, 1970, in Clayton, LA. They were happily married for 45 years.

She was preceded in death by parents: O.C Gillyard and Opehelia Gillyard, husband Andrew Warren Sr., siblings: Orol Charles Gillyard, Aljer Gillyard, Frederick Gillyard, Deborah Ann Gillyard.

She was survived by sons: Andrew Warren Jr. and Anthony Warren, and granddaughter Kaitlyn M. Warren.
