Judith Evelyn Warthon was born in Kansas City, Kansas on July 8, 1954. Judy was the loving daughter of Earlee Conway Hill Warthon and Eddie Warthon. To this union was born Elsa Warthon Williams and Judith Evelyn Warthon Anderson.

Her parents, Big Mama, sister, husband, and grandchild preceded her in death.

As an avid songstress, Judy accepted Christ as her Personal Savior at the early age 5. Judy became an excellent vocalist, sang with Freddie Johnson and the 360 Degree Band at Blues Alley Chick Willis, and Joe Blue, where she had a strong following.

Judy married Solomon Anderson II on Oct 7, 1983.

Those celebrating her life are her son: Eddie Lonell James Warthon (Jamie), and Solomon Anderson III.; daughter: Somona Anderson Pride (Bennie): four loving grandchildren: Lashawnta Warthon, Eddie Warthon Jr, Aiden Warthon, Taliya Warthon; Fiancée: Lonnie Collins; her siblings: Glenda Smith, Kenneth Herring Sr. (LouWanda), Andrea Tate, Kimberly Herring-Jones (Samuel), LaDonna Mitchell, Tedra Herring, Benita Thompson, Kevin Herring Sr. (Karen), Pamela Sims, Shelia Herring, Angela Gutierrez (Eduardo), and Jackie Howard; special friends: Lorene Guilbeaux, the Lee family,  and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
