Justin Aaron Taylor, age 37, was a man full of life, ambition, love, and unforgettable energy. He carried a spirit that could light up a room and a smile that many will never forget. Justin loved deeply, laughed loudly, and dreamed fearlessly. He believed in becoming more, seeing more, and reaching higher in life, and he inspired many people simply by being himself.
Born on June 13, 1988, Justin was raised in Kansas City, MO, where many of his childhood memories and lifelong connections were formed. Throughout his life, he also lived in Las Vegas, NV, Dallas, TX, Corpus Christi, TX, and finally Louisville, KY, where he was proudly living out one of his greatest dreams as a flight attendant. Aviation gave Justin purpose, joy, and freedom. Becoming a flight attendant was an accomplishment he was incredibly proud of, and he continued reaching for even greater heights as he aspired to become a pilot.
Justin attended Paseo High School and later graduated from Don Bosco Centers, building lasting memories and meaningful relationships everywhere he went. Whether with family, friends, coworkers, or strangers he met while traveling, Justin had a special way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated. His humor, heartfelt conversations, kindness, and adventurous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Justin was preceded in death by his biological mother, Joyce Taylor, and his beloved brother, Antone Taylor, whose memories remained meaningful parts of his story and forever close to his heart. However, special love, honor, and appreciation are extended to his chosen mother, Angel Crofton, who loved, raised, supported, and cared for Justin as her own. Her unwavering love, sacrifices, and dedication played a major role in shaping the man Justin became. The bond they shared was built on love, care, and family, and her impact on his life will forever be cherished and remembered.
Justin leaves behind: his loving father, Billy Armstrong; his mother, Angel Crofton; his brother, Rafael Armstrong; his devoted sister, Asia Echols; his beloved nieces and nephews: Terryon, Lytiana, Journee and Najm, along with a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.
Though Justin’s physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to live on through the memories, laughter, love, and moments he shared with so many people. He leaves behind a legacy of determination, growth, joy, and love that will never be forgotten.
Justin’s wings carried him across many cities during his life, and now his soul rests peacefully above the clouds he loved so much.
