Kacy Lynn Parker

Kacy Lynn Parker, 59, passed away on June 30, 2026, at the Kansas City Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri. Kacy was born on November 22, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri to SL and Betty Sue (Estill) Elbert. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Kacy grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She was educated in the Kansas City Public School District, graduating from Bishop Hogan High School.  She furthered her education at UMKC, where she earned a Master's in Education. 

Kacy began her career as a Teacher at Hartman Middle School and, finished as a Principal for Hickman Mills School District - the wonderful school of Freda Markley Early Childhood Center.

On November 3, 1990, Kacy married her high school sweetheart, Derrick LaMell Parker. They were happily married for 35 years and have been together for 44 years. To this union two children were born.

Left to cherish Kacy's sweet memory:  her husband, Derrick Parker; her son, Derreon Parker; her daughter, Aerreon Parker; her grandchildren; her brother, Kevin Elbert (Kathy); and a host of other loving family and friends.
