Listen to Obituary

Kameron Colette Cobbins was born on July 10, 1981, to the parents of Clarence and Michelle Cobbins in Kansas City, MO. She was the eldest of two girls.

Raised in the church, Kameron was baptized at the age of 8 years old. She was a member of Memorial Church International under the leadership of Apostle Larry B. Aiken. She loved God and served her church in many areas to include the youth ministry and the kitchen ministry.

Kameron is a 1999 graduate of Hickman Mills High School. There she ran track and played basketball. After graduating, she furthered her education as an EMT. She then began to work for General Motors for several years.

Her world changed forever when she welcomed her baby girl, Kennadi, on December 10, 2001. In January of 2021, Kameron added “Gigi” as a title, when her grandson, Kaden, was born.

Kameron loved to collect sneakers, she was an avid lover of wrestling and a die-hard Chiefs fan. Many will remember her love for number 87, Travis Kelce.

Most of all, many will remember the delicious cheesecakes Kameron whipped up from scratch. There would be nothing left in the pan.

Kameron will be remembered as the queen of pranks, comedic comebacks, her love for family and her infectious smile that would light up any room.

Kameron was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Michelle Cobbins; father and stepmother, Clarence and Gwen Cobbins; daughter, Kennadi Cobbins; grandson, Kaden Antwine; sister, Taylor Cobbins; and nieces, Ty’synne Cobbins, Tionne Cobbins, and Tailynn Cobbins; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
