Karen Elaine Johnson

Karen Johnson, 67, passed away on March 20, 2019 at home in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on January 29, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to Alan Locks, Sr., and Leoria Franklin. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and was educated in the Kansas City Public School District and graduated from Lincoln High School. She began work for KC Blood Bank as a phlebotomist. She was involved with Mary Kelly Community Center.

She was preceded into death by her parents; Alan Locks, Sr., Leoria Franklin, brother; Alan Locks, Jr.

Karen is survived by her children; Jessica Riley, John Johnson, Jason Johnson, granddaughters; Jacquanise Johnson, Jada Winchester, Faith Johnson, Alexandria Riley, great grandchildren; Joshua, De’Airah, De’Aughn, Trenton, sisters; Anita Powell, Linda Soloman, bestfriend; Dorothy Jackson, forever friend; Lester Warner, her forever nephews, her boys, and a host of other relatives and friends.
