Karen Teresie Sharp, 64, passed away on January 18, 2021 at Saint Joseph Medical Center, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on December 14, 1956 in Wyandotte, Kansas to Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Franklin and Carrie Mae Blewett. Karen graduated from Paseo High School and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She became a mother and raised her only child Theresa Denise Burris.
Karen began her career caring for others as a caregiver for many years while working; until she had to retire for medical reasons. But that did not stop her from still caring for others as much as she could. She would always help whom ever needed a place to stay, whenever they needed food and clothing. She was so loved by everyone that had crossed her path. She loved to be around her family; especially her grand kids. She spent lots of quality time with her family. They meant the world to her. They were her pride and joy. She shared a special bond with every one of them. A bond so rare; that some may not understand. Karen was not just a mother or a grandmother; she was a best friend, a listener, a supporter, a shoulder to lean on, our hero; in so many ways that you could not imagine. Karen was a person that you could trust to tell you the truth and how it really was. She always kept it real in telling you what you needed to hear and not what you wanted her to tell you. She was a realist. And we all love and will miss her beautiful smiles and crazy funny laughs.
Karen later married Czar Anthony Sharp and they were married for several years before his passing. She was preceded into death by her (parents); Ralph Franklin Blewett and Carrie Mae Blewett, (husband); Czar Anthony Sharp, (sister); Donna Jean Blewett, (brothers); Ralph Edward Blewett and Terrance Keith Blewett and her (niece); Carrie Mae Blewett.
