Katherine L. Wilson

Katherina L. Wilson, 49, passed away on December 18, 2023, affectionately known as “Kat Kat” by her family and friends.  She was the baby of the five children born to the late Silver Mae Wilson, and Clement Paul Grayson, both of Kansas City, Missouri who precedes her in death, along with one brother, Roy L. Grayson; two nephews, John Price and Maurice Price; one aunt, Rosie Frazier; and two uncles, Robert L. Wilson, and Eddie “Briscoe” Wilson.

She attended Southeast High School and later went on to work at the Embassy Suites.  She also learned how to work on houses.  She loved making extra money, and let’s not forget playing cards; if she could play every day, trust me, she would.  She loved her family, especially her grandkids.  She loved cars and her dog, or you could say, “her precious babies.”  She enjoyed family get togethers and holiday gatherings.  She will be truly missed but never forgotten.

She leaved to cherish her memory: three sons, Michael C. Wilson, Leotis D. Wilson, and Isaiah Wilson; four daughters, Kayla L. Wilson, Jada Franklin, Regina Franklin, and Precious Franklin; two sisters, Agnes Williams and Rhonda Wilson; three brothers, Robert Wilson, Larry Wilson, Melvin Craig; special brother-in-law, William William; twenty grandchildren, Mi Kayla, Tar’Nay, DeAnthony, Travion, Anyla, Bre’Zaih, Leotis Jr, Leasia, Rakia, Winter, Maleyah, Ya’Manie, Michael Jr, Aubrey, Hi’Mell, Jayla, Jorden, Juliana, Jacob, Zakye; and a very special friend, Patricia Payne, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
