Katie B Wilson

Katie B. Wilson, passed away on September 6, 2019 at her home in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was born on January 9, 1933 in Shreveport, Louisiana to L.C. Adams and Sammie Lee Easter.  She grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana and later received her GED.

Katie later began working for the Kansas City Public School Systems as a Cafeteria Manager, where she worked for 30 years.  She retired in 2001 after 30 years of service.  She was also involved in GT Social Club. On March 21, 1968 Katie married Jesse Wilson in Paris, Oklahoma.  They were happily married for 21 years.

She was preceded into death by her parents, L.C. Adams and Sammie Lee Easter; husband, Jesse Wilson; daughter, Pauline Walton; son, Tyrone Wilson; and her grandson, Clarence Walton.

Katie is survived by her children, Larry Walton, Linda Walton, Joyce Walton, Carolyn Walton, Victor Walton, and Jesse Wilson Jr; her siblings, Irene Adams, Debra Adams, and Ricky Adams; her grandchildren, Darren Walton, Terence Walton, Raheem Malik, Eric Cain, Torium Johnson, Vondell Walton, Tony Brown, Anthony Francis, Victor Walton, Courtney Cain, Dominique Cain, Shavon Walton, Bailey Walton, Kayla Walton, and Brittney Smalls; and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
