Kenneth Hergins, Sr

Kenneth W. Hergins, Sr. 57, of Kansas City, Mo. died on May 9, 2021, at the home. He was born on April 17, 1964, to the proud parents of Homer N. Hergins Sr. and Geraldine Hergins. He was the sixth of eight siblings. His parents, sister: Saundra; brother: Charles; and nephew: Antonio all preceded him in death.

He graduated from Westport Sr. High school in 1982. Kenneth married Ritha Andrews in 1993, and with this union Kenisha, Kandice, Keyara and Kenneth Jr. were born. Ritha preceded him in death.

Kenneth had a special relationship with Tiffany, and to that union a special daughter: Te’Keyah Lawson, Kameron, Keynan, and Tanner Hergins were born. Like a blaze that came into his life Ah’Leisha Cole was born to Kenneth and Rosilyn. Kenneth retired from the Unified Government of Wyandotte County Kansas in 2020 as a Traffic Engineer. He also worked for the Brass Ring in Kansas City, Ks where he met many famous people.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Rhonda Hergins; eight children: Kenisha, Kandice, Keyara, Kenneth Jr., Kameron, Keynan, Tanner, Ah’Leisha (Clayton), special daughter: TeKeyah Lawson; one brother: Homer N. Hergins, Jr.; four sisters, Brenda Williams, Lattina Hergins, Trejuanna Guy and Geri Forte (David); Special brother: Keith Clemoens; five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, and other family members and friends.
