Kerneious D. Whitley

Kerneious was born in Lonoke, Arkansas in 1962 to the late Dorothy Gantt and the late JB Whitley. Up until the age of 11. He lived with his maternal grandparents before coming to Kansas City to live with his mother. Later in life he acquired a loving stepfather Meredith Marshall. Kerneious graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1980. During his life he worked many jobs including General Motors and The Salvation Army.

He also was a member of the Kansas National Guard. On December 25, 1990. Kerneious married Stacy Canady. Where they lived in Atlanta, GA. They eventually ended in divorce. But remained cordial and friendly. Kerneious had a strong personality, a keen sense of humor, a big heart, and a big smile with an infectious laugh.

Kerneious was preceded in death by Grandparents Eddie and Hattie Gantt, mother Dorothy Gantt Marshall, father JB Whitley, and niece Arzelia Marshall. He is survived by stepfather Meredith Marshall, stepmother Vicki Whitley, stepsister Amber (Michael) Estell, sisters Latrice Williams, Lamesha Whitley, Lisa Davis, brothers Jerald Whitley, Brian Whitley. Special friend Trina Price, uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends.
