Kevin Handley

Kevin was born May 18, 1960, to Leona Johnson-Handley and Felton Handley. He was raised in Kansas City, Missouri and attended Westport High School. Kevin was a kind and loving, no nonsense person.  He loved his family and would do anything for them that he could. His favorite place to hangout was “The Beach” also known as Troost Lake and the crap house.  Duck acted as if he owned “The Beach” and everyone respected that.  He loved to 2 step and attend 2 step contests. Holiday functions were extremely special to him. He was a devoted Chiefs fan.  He loved to eat and was passionate about dressing to impress.

Kevin departed this life on, October 25, 2021.  Preceding him in death are his mother and father; 2 sons, Kevin Murrell (Poo Poo), and Cortez Handley (Lil Duck); 4 brothers, Felton Handle, Jr., Jerome Handley, Clinton Handley, and Robert Eugene Handley.

Kevin leaves to mourn his passing the love of his life, Linda Chase; and his mother-in-law, Mary Williams of the home; his children, Sean Murrell (Don Don), Albert Chase (A), and his daughter, Shonda Smith; his brother, Danny Handley; three sisters, Varonia Heard (Kennon), Sharon Wynn, and Kathryn Handley; nine grandchildren and a host of other friends and family members.
