Kimberly Marie (Jones) Brown, age 51, was born on October 1, 1975, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Ronald Eugene Jones Sr. and Judith Ann (Wills) Jones. Kimberly was the only daughter and the middle of three children. At a very young age, Kimberly gave her life to Christ, establishing a foundation of faith that would remain an important part of her life.
Kimberly received her early education at Mary Harmon Weeks Elementary School and King Middle School. She continued her education at Northeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri, where she graduated in 1994. After graduation, she attended Independence School of Cosmetology and became a licensed beautician. She later dedicated more than 20 years to customer service, working for several companies, including GE Electric, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Spectrum.
Kimberly met Frederick Dwight Brown Sr., and the two were united in marriage on November 10, 2001. From their union, they were blessed with two children, twins Frederick Brown Jr. and London Brown.
Kimberly was always a people person, known for her beautiful smile and warm personality. She loved her family and enjoyed being present at family gatherings, where she could spend time with the people she loved. Her uncles often affectionately called her “Kimmie.” When they wanted to tease her, they would call her “Tornado,” a nickname given to her by her great-grandfather, George, when she was just a little girl because she was always getting into something.
Kimberly leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Frederick Brown Sr.; her twin children, Frederick Brown Jr. and London Brown; and her parents, Ronald and Judith Jones. She also leaves behind two brothers, Ronald Jones Jr. (Michelle) and Brian Jones (Tandra), along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family and friends.
