Kimberly Paris Stone, 47, passed away on April 29, 2025, at her home in Kansas City, MO. She was born on July 22, 1977, in Kansas City, MO to Thomas Martin and Bonnie (Maynard) Stone-Gray. Kimberly was educated in the Kansas City Public School District, graduating from Northeast High School. After high school, she pursued higher education and earned a professional credential in the medical field. Kimberly received a degree in nursing from the Metropolitan Community College -Penn Valley.
Throughout her life, Kimberly remained employed. Her most indelible place of employment was Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics. Her presence graced them for 22 years within the system beginning in 2001. Simultaneously, Kimberly began her journey of entrepreneurship. Beginning with "Mary Kay" and "Scentsy" then ultimately establishing "Bonniez House". Her mission was, “Being a family business, here to be the best we can be.”
Kimberly's life revolved around happiness and fun. She was most enthusiastic about spending time with loved ones, traveling, and participating in the arts. This varied from modeling to painting to outdoor decor and design. All who knew her, knew she had a passion for comics and coffee. The best cup of coffee always came in a great mug, and she had a collection that could only be admired. She loved her coffee mugs just as much as she loved her family.
Kimberly dedicated herself to the family she created. Her son, Aric and her daughter, Autumn were her absolute life. She loved and cared for them for as long as she could and for as long as they would let her without embarrassing them. She made sure every accomplishment was recognized, no matter how big or small. Bringing joy and laughter to everyone around her.
The joy continued when Kimberly met Ron Christopher Monk in 2016. Her charm captured Ron, so he made the decision to relocate and begin his life with her in 2017. In 2022, Ron and Kimberly were eternally tied in matrimony, professing their love for each other; for family and friends to witness. Sharing their love until Kimberly’s earthly departure.
She was preceded into death by her father, Thomas Martin; stepfather, Jerry W. Roberson; paternal grandparents, Johnny and Jessie Stone; maternal grandparents, Carl Maynard Jr. and Ida Maynard; mother-in-love, Marie Monk Bennett; grandmother-in-love, Hannah Mae Monk; aunt, Joann Maynard; uncle, Carl Maynard III; cousins: April Reaws and WIllie Reaws III.
