Kindrea Chara Marie Brown

Kindrea’ Chara-Marie Brown, affectionately known as (KC) was born July 21, 1993 in Kansas City, MO. to Daniel Wesley III and Janet E Brown. KC went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2018.

KC grew up in Kansas City, MO and graduated from University Academy in 2011. After high school she attended KCC and Penn Valley Community Colleges receiving an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy. At the time of her passing she was attending UMKC completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. The past 5 years Kindrea also worked part-time at UPS in Lenexa, KS as a package handler.

Kindrea’ confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was very active in her church. She was involved in the KC Marching Wildcats and UA Jazz Band. She was an amazing drummer and member of the Dance Ministry at Divine Temple Church, a Kauffman Scholar, and participated in the Love & War musical conference. Kindrea had a smile that lit up the room, loved anything ‘purple’, her mom, sister, brother, nieces, nephews, family, her God-children, friends, her dog, and living LIFE to the fullest!

She was preceded in death by both grandparents; Kindred and Susie Brown (maternal) and Daniel & Jessi Wesley (paternal). Mable Slay (great aunt) and (uncles) Jack and Joe Dean.

She leaves to cherish her memories; Janet Brown (mother), Daniel Wesley III (father), brother: Ellwyn Brown (Marie), sister: Raylona Brown, aunt: Yolanda Wilson, uncles: Dennis Dean (Margo), Quinton Dean, Burnell Brown (Stephanie). God-mother: Phyllis Woodson, God-aunts: Jenetta Hollis, Rowena Hooker-Boykin. Five God-children: Landon Robinson (Loisha); Lyric Jackson, Lauryn & Lynnx Lawton (Shanatea); and Carter Marshall (Mariah). Eleven nieces and nephews, Ellwyn, Shaun, Marquise, Ellijah, Ellexys, EllAijah, Ellona, Ellniyah, Bryon, Diamond, Marcus and a host of very special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends.
