Lachanda Shenise Barnett-Brazil

Lachanda Shenise Barnett-Brazil, 29, passed away on August 8, 2018 at Belton Regional Medical Center, in Belton Missouri. She was born on April 8, 1989 in Kansas City, Missouri to Bryan W. Rucker, Sr., and Yolanda D. Barnett.

She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence, Missouri. After high school she attended Ultimate Medical Academy in Clearwater, Florida, where she received an Associated in Medical Billing and Coding.

She began working for Dentures & Dental Solutions as the Office Manager. She was engaged to Eli Brazil on March 17, 2018 in Kansas City, Missouri. They were to be married on August 18, 2020.

She was preceded into death by her Grandmother; Jessie B. Barnett, Aunt; Diana Swift, Grandfather; William C. Johnson, Grandfather; Lawrence Drake, and Aunt Isabelle Pierce.

She is survived by her spouse; Eli Brazil (KCMO), father; Bryan Rucker Sr. (KCMO), mother; Yolanda Barnett (TX), her daughter; Savannah Caraway, brothers; Bryan (Taleei) Rucker II (NC), Jaron (Jamie) Rucker (KCMO), Joshua (Kizee) Brazil, and Daniel Brazil, father-in-law; David Brazil, mother-in-law; Gwendolyn Brazil, sister; Elizabeth Brazil, nieces; Kimya J. Rucker, Zaniyah Lanier, LaLeah F.E. Rucker, nephew; Jaivon A. Rucker, grandparents; Leon (Anna) Rucker, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to The Humane Society of the United States.
