LaDare Cortez Williams departed this life on August 31, 2020 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. He was born on December 6, 1971 in Kansas City to Ollie OutleyJr. and Annie Mae Williams.

He attended Paseo High School through 12th grade and was a star player in basketball. After high school, LaDarewas a cook for Shalom Geriatric Center for 5 years then worked as a detailer for Rap’s Polish Shop for 10 years.

LaDare was known to many as “Uncle Lado” and by his mother as her “Lux.” He enjoyed listening to music, watching YouTube videos, and reading the encyclopedia. He loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals play. He also loved taking care of his “Mama” and spending time with his family to whom he greeted with a smooth “What Up Doe?” In his departure, he was able to save the lives of 13 people through organ and tissue donation. The recipients of his gift included 3 children, a heart transplant candidate, and a pregnant mother.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Kenneth Williams and his father, Ollie OutleyJr.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his mother, Annie Mae Williams; his brother LaVaughnFisher (Eunice) of Dallas Texas; 4 sisters, Esther Baker of Hillsboro, TX; Beverly Jefferson, Debra Williams, and Tina Posey of Kansas City, MO; nieces Christy Baker, Brittany Baker, Tara Littlejohn and Shanelle Fisher of Texas; TameriaJefferson, AkieriCastle, and Jasmine Brooks of Kansas City, MO; and nephews Kenneth Williams (Tracie), Anthony Williams, TahmelJefferson, Dion Posey, Rodney Williams, Korey Brooks of Kansas City, MO; and Corey Baker, Tony Baker, Marcus Baker, LaVonFisher of Texas. LaDarealso leaves a host of great nieces and nephews who will also cherish his memory.
