Lagalia married Gabriel Afola on October 12, 2001 and from this union Lagalia gave birth to two children, Nathaniel and Moriah.  Lagalia proved to be a good and capable wife and she taught, trained, and raised her children to display good manners, to be kind, courteous, respectful, and obedient. Lagalia began a personal study of God’s Word the Holy Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1989.  By means of her Bible study, meeting attendance, and association with the congregation, Lagalia grew spiritually and began to put on the ‘New Personality’ from God.  After coming to an accurate knowledge of the Truth she, like Christ Jesus, dedicated her life to do God’s Will and symbolized her dedication by water baptism on March 11, 1990.  Lagalia persevered in the Field Ministry, preaching and teaching people the truth as found in God’s Word the Bible.  From time-to-time throughout the years, Lagalia served as an Auxiliary Pioneer, spending 30 to 50 hours a month in the Ministry on many occasions.  Lagalia spoke of and taught many about the Hope of the Resurrection, and she now sleeps in the Memory of our Grand God Jehovah, awaiting the fulfillment of that hope, which is sure to be realized soon.

Lagalia leaves to cherish her memory and is survived by her husband; Gabriel Afola, her two children; Nathaniel and Moriah Afola, one grand-daughter; Keshanna Shurn, Mother; Joanne Savage, four siblings; Brian Savage, Karen Luke, Michelle Luke, Tina Luke, two belated brothers; William Luke and Michael Luke; a loving community of relatives, and friends, and a host of her brothers and sisters throughout the many and various congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
