Larry K. Wren, Sr., was born to Willie Wren Jr. and Jessie Mae Wren from Arkansas. He spent his early years in Wynne, Arkansas until he was 5 years of age. Where they then moved to Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Kansas City public school district. Where he graduated from Manuel high school class of 1972. Growing up He found a love for sports and excelled in sports such as basketball, football and in his later years he found a love tennis and golf.

While attending college in Iowa he married his first wife. To that union they had three children. Then started his career at general mills where he decided to further his education by receiving his real estate license and becoming an engineer.

In his later years he accepted Jesus Christ into his life. He then met his second wife who became his longtime companion as well as brought two kids to the union. Having a need for speed he found a love for fast cars, motorcycles and nice things. Not to mention he was the gadget king with a big love for electronics.

Preceded him in death Mother Jessie Mae Wren, Brother Robert Wren, Sister Betty Jo Wren and Victoria Poole.

He leaves to cherish Father: Willie Wren Step-mother: Geraldine Bailey-Wren, wife: Priscilla Smith-Wren Sons: Larry K. (Lisa)Wren, II., Richard D. Jackson, Alexander X. (Little) Wren Sr, daughters: Demise L. Wren, Chrelle D. Simmons. Brothers: James R. Wren, Rashad A. (Phyllis) Hakeem, Daniel Bailey, Lorenzo Bailey, Larry L. Wren, Willie Wren III., Sisters; Connie Clark, Francis Bragier, Barbara Williams, Linda Wren, Tony Bailey of Kansas City, Kansas, Dece Bailey, Cynthia Bailey, Randy Wren, Rochelle Wren, 22 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
