Larry Dean Tuggle

Larry D. Tuggle “Squeaky”, age 65, departed this life on Thursday, November 10, 2022. He was born on October 8, 1957, in Kansas City, MO to Lavoy and Bertha Tuggle. Larry was preceded

in death by his parents, Lavoy, and Bertha Tuggle; his paternal grandparents, Artie and Geneva Tuggle; maternal grandparents, Maseo and Beatrice Grayson; and a brother, Gary D. Tuggle.

Larry attended school on the Kansas City MO school district having graduated from East High School. After high school, Larry enlisted in the United States Army for 2 terms and then went on to serve in the National Guard.

Larry was employed at Hallmark for 37 years. After retirement, Larry enjoyed, fishing, spending time with his family, traveling, and attending black rodeos. While working at Hallmark, Larry met the love of his life, Glenda “Punch” and they were married on October 12, 2013.

In 2017, Larry became a member of New Life in Christ church where he faithfully served in several capacities. Including the food pantry and on the security team.

Larry’s memories will be cherished by his wife, Glenda; children, Latrina, and Larry Jr. (Melissa); stepson, Tony Strother; sisters, Donna Jo Johnson (Rob), Pagerine Tuggle; and Bertha Proffitt (Sheldon); brothers, Kelvin Tuggle (Rhonda), Victor Tuggle, and Tyrone Tuggle, 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
