Mr. Larse Etalis Mack, lovingly known as “Mac” was born on Saturday, June 25, 1955, in Linden, Texas to Grimmie and Alice (Neal) Mack. Larse was the third child born from this union.
Larse grew up in Kansas City, MO where he received his education in the Kansas City Missouri Public School District. He accepted Christ at a young age at Westminster Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C.C. Wheeler. His various talents and skills lead him to several jobs around the Kansas City area including Red Lobster and Bob’s N Motion.
Larse married Jeannette M. Taylor on February 27, 1991. Throughout their union, he cherished the opportunity to raise three bonus daughters, embracing each one of them as if they were his own. His flair for fashion was unmatched; he had an eye for colorful suits and shiny shoes that perfectly complemented his vibrant personality. Known for his love of two-stepping, he brought energy to every gathering, lighting up the dance floor and the hearts of those around him. When he wasn’t dancing you could find him bartending at Old Folks or Bob’s N Motion. Family was at the center of his life and he derived immense joy from hanging out with his great nephews, Carter and Maurice, and his great niece Londyn (girl across the hall). Their bond was a testament to his love for family and the joy that relationships brought him.
