Latoya Shureese Gray, age 41, passed away on April 27, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on December 6, 1984, to George Johnson and Lynn Gray, a native of Kansas City.
As a child, Latoya spent time in Kansas City, Missouri and Sedalia, Missouri, graduating from Smith-Cotton High School, then furthering her education at State Fair Community College in Sedalia.
Latoya was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and most notably, the proud mother of Cortez, Antonio Jr., Antoyauna, and Montez.
She was preceded in death by several family members: Venora Mays, Antonio Jackson Sr., Derrick Douglas, Brittany Gray, Quan Gray, Michael Gray, Andrew Meyers, Grandpa Boonie, Grandma Ronizer Gray, Calvin Shyas, Lamont "Corn Bread" Sherman, and Myron Lamont Frazier.
Left to cherish Latoya's sweet memory: her children: Cortez Douglas, Antonio Jackson Jr., Antoyauna Jackson and Montez Gray; her grandchildren: Luka, Jahmir, Amelia, and Anylah; her parents; George Johnson and Lynn Gray; her siblings: Laketha Gray, Latasha Elliott, George Johnson Jr., Unique Carter and Demetrius Gray; her uncles and aunts; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other loving family and friends.
