Lavance Jones Jr.

LaVance Cyril Jones Jr. was born on January 12, 1991 to Katherine Williams and LaVance Cyril Jones Sr. LaVance was preceded in death  his  maternal  grandparents, Ernest and Geneva Williams.

LaVance received his formal education in the Kansas City Missouri Public School District. At an early age, he was baptized by the late Philip A. Layne where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was employed at Hostess and enjoyed joining his squad for a friendly but competitive game of Call of Duty.

LaVance lived life to the fullest and is best remembered for ALWAYS playing around and brightening any room with his smile. No matter the time or day, he would always have something funny to say or do. LaVance enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and he LOVED his family with all his heart. He was extremely passionate about being a father, brother, uncle, son, cousin and friend!

LaVance’s memory will be cherished by those he left behind; his parents: Katherine Williams and LaVance Jones Sr; Harold Mitchell; his four children: Dontez Rushing, LaVance (Baby Vance) Jones, JahMir Gant,and only daughter, LaNiyah Jones; his four siblings: Alvin (Jasmine) Dunlap Jr., Edwina (Brian) Williams, Jonathan  Williams, and Sinnamon Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews. One love to the BLUFFBOYZ/A.M.E.
