Lee Jonia “LeeJoe” Douglas was born January 11, 1988, in Kansas City, Missouri. During Lee’s early years he was surrounded by family and friends making lasting memories
In high school he welcomed his first daughter, Nevaeh Danielle Douglas, on February 15, 2006. Despite being a young parent, Lee graduated from Raytown High School in May of 2006.
Lee went on to pursue different jobs to provide for his family as well as trying to find his right career path.
On August 28, 2010, he welcomed his second daughter, Kali Jonai Douglas.
Determined to further his education and better provide for his daughters, Lee enrolled in Vatterott College graduating with his Associates of Occupational Studies Electrical Technology in Oct. 2015.
He welcomed his first son, Lee Jonia Douglas Jr born Dec. 19, 2013.
In 2018 C&W service’s relocated Lee and his family to North Richland Hills TX where he pursued his passion in electrical mechanic. While working at Amazon, Lee then meet Tim’Mesha Green, adding to their family Kenzie Sharael Douglas, in May 6, 2022, and Riley Amari Douglas, in April 14,2023; getting engaged and planning on their future
Lee was always a hard worker pushing himself within his career wanting to excel further. He was very family oriented, always making his family his priority.
Mellverene Sims(Grandmother), Donna Barnes Guy(Grandmother), Willam Guy(Grandfather), William Richard Guy(Uncle), Shaylynn Sims(Cousin), Albert “Buddy” Dockery (Cousin), and Myeshia Pruett(Niece) all preceded him in death.
Lee leaves behind, Travistine Tuggle (Mother) (Reggie Tuggle); Robert Sims (Father); Dwayne Guy (Brother) KCMO; Gerome Guy (brother) Fort Worth, TX; Robin Sims (Sister) Fort Worth, TX; Robert Sims III (Brother) KCMO; Phillip Brandon Sims (Brother) KCMO;Kenya Allen (Sister) KCMO; Eric Douglas (Brother) Atlanta, GA; JohnTae Douglas (Brother) Sacramento, CA; Byron Douglas (Brother) Sacramento, CA; Aushalay Meadows (Sister) Austin,TX; Zalana Sims (Sister) Sacramento,CA; a special niece/daughter, Harper B. Sims; special cousins, Ira “Poppi Chulo” Walls, Island “Peep Squeek” Walls, and Marcus “Bo” Dockery, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins aunts, uncles and friends.
