Lenora worked for Durham School Bus Service as a Bus Driver where she worked for 6 years. She retired in 2005 after 18 years of employment.

Lenora married Jimmie T. James in 1964 in Kansas City, MO. They were happily married for 17 years.

Lenora was preceded in death by her Mother Hazel Robinson, Daughters: Donnise James and Regina James, Brother: Robert Williams, Grandson: Romemo James.

Lenora is survived by her Husband Jimmie James, Daughters: DeGloria James and Jacqueline James, Son: Malcolm James, Sisters: Ruby Williams and Faye Delaney, several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, a host of other relatives, and friends.
