Lerron Terrell Byers, 38, transitioned into the eternal realm on April 14, 2026. Lerron was born on August 4, 1987, to Lazeta (Bowden) Davis and Bervin Byers. He was lovingly raised by his bonus father, Brian Davis.

Lerron graduated from Raytown South High School in 2006. Affectionately known as “Pie” by his family and friends, he had a deep love for cooking—whether in the kitchen at home with his children or barbequing at family gatherings. Sports were always an important part of his life and remained so into adulthood. He also had a passion for music, especially rap.

Lerron had a heart of gold and left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a dedicated worker, and a mentor and coach to many. Known for his laughter, fun-loving spirit, and radiant smile, Lerron cherished time spent with his family.

At an early age, Lerron was baptized in Christ at This Rock Christian Tabernacle under the leadership of Bishop George W. Reese Jr.

In 2018, Lerron began working at Shamrock, where he started as a driver assistant and later advanced to the position of dock supervisor through his hard work and dedication.

Lerron will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Scott; maternal grandmother, Vera L. Bowden; Aunt Velma Scott (“Aunt Bam”); paternal grandparents, Bervin Byers Sr. and Betty Byers; and special cousins, Craig Dydell and Michael Hubbard.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Lazeta (Brian) and Bervin (Adrienne); his beloved wife, Kristina Byers; his children: Ty’Ron, Michael, Lerron Jr., Zy’Aire, and Zion Byers; his brothers: Derron (Bianca), Bervin III, Blair, and Blake; his sisters: Rashawnda, Zoria, Lexie, Keyonna, and Brenttnei; his maternal grandfather James (Martina) Bowden, grandmother Malinda Davis, aunt Bertina, aunt Veresa, aunt Elcarmeita, uncles: James and Brecke; a very special cousin, Asia Lacey, and a host of extended family and friends.
