Levita N. Allen, 63 passed away on December 7, 2020 at Research Hospital Hospice Care. She was born on March 1, 1957 in Columbia MO. to Samuel Williams and Mary Alice Jean Brigley. She grew up in Plattsburgh, MO. Levita graduated from Westport High School in Kansas City, MO. After high school she attended Penn Valley Community College, and Ashworth University where she received an associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
Levita worked for the Kansas City Public School District as a Paraprofessional. She later returned to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional with the Hickman Mills School District.
She was a member of the United Believers Community Church where she was a valuable greeter in the Greeter’s Ministry and was active in the Women’s Ministry.
Levita had a strong dedication and will to ensure family and friends were fed and sheltered when needed.
She is preceded in death by: her father, Samuel L. Williams; and her mother, Mary Alice Jean Brigley.
She is survived by: her son, Clifton L Jones Jr., a.k.a. Poppie; daughter, Camela L. Jones, a.k.a. Kay; granddaughter, Cassie N. Rambo-Jones; goddaughter, Asia Golden; godson, Manali Ki Wilson; and a host of uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins, and family and friends.
