Lewis T. Dennis

Lewis Tyrell Dennis was born January 9, 1961, to his loving mother Willetta Matthews who proceeded him in death. In 1986 he married Victoria Gotto-Dennis, a marriage of 33 years, who also proceeded him in death. No children were born to this union.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. Lewis was educated in the Kansas City Missouri public school district after which he worked in the Kansas City area until his health failed him.

He loved each of his children, family and friends and valued his personal relationships greatly. Being a lifelong LA Lakers fan and an overall sports fanatic, he enjoyed most all sports.

His earthly departure was December 19th, 2023, at the St Joseph Medical Center here in Kansas City, Missouri. He leaves to cherish his memories six children: Lewis T. Dennis Jr., Lewone T. Dennis, Connie T.

Dennis, Alexius K. Dennis, Jeremiah T. Dennis, Larelle D. Dennis, all of Kansas City Missouri. Four stepchildren which he loved as his own, Four grandchildren: Jayon, Jayven, Noah, and Janardia, all of Kansas City Missouri. One brother: Raymond Matthews of Brooklyn Park Minnesota, Four sisters: Connie Matthews, Cynthia Malbrew (Donald) both of Los Angelas California, Sharon Bedford of Rochester Minnesota, and Rosalind Manning of Kansas City Missouri. A Special Aunt: Gail Jordan, and a special niece: Janea' Winchester, who both stood by his side in this battle we call life and during his illness. He also leaves to cherish his memories other aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends.
