Lewis Robinson, 73, passed away on May 8, 2021 in Independence, Missouri. He was born on March 29, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to Lewis Jenkins, and Vermina McGee. He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. He graduated in Kansas City, Missouri. After high school, he received an electrical degree. He began work for KU Medical Center as a maintenance technician for 30 years, then later retired. He married Ruby Carlock on December 9th, 1969 in Kansas City, Missouri. He never met a Stranger. Everyone he met became part of his family. He loved to cook breakfast on the weekend, his specialty was fried potatoes. He loved to travel to Minnesota to see his mother, brothers, and sisters. He treated all the kids as if they were his own. Nephews, nieces and all of his kids’ friends. They call him Big Louie or sometimes Daddy too. He put a basketball goal in the back yard, even after a hard long day at work he still made time to play with his sons and friends. He loved to listen to his old school music on the weekends. He loved cars sometimes owning more than on at a time.

He was preceded into by wife: Ruby Robinson; son: Jawan Robinson; mother: Vermina McGee; father: Lewis Jenkins; brothers: Otha McGee, and Robert McGee; sisters: Lula Gresham, and Navella Womack.

He is survived sons: Lewis E. Robinson III, and Jeffery L. Robinson; sisters: Yvonne Hennings (Williams), Barbara Williams, and Veronica Abrams; brothers: Johnnie (man) Allen, and Maurice McGee.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the prays, words of comfort, and donations.
