Lisa Renee Bert

LISA RENEE BERT, was born May 6, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the youngest of five children birthed by her beautiful mother Emma Lee Bert. LISA grew up in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. She was educated in the Kansas City Public School System and was a graduate of Paseo High School Performing Arts Class of 1984.

After graduation, LISA was gainfully employed throughout the Kansas City area. She enjoyed helping people. Her friendly and pleasant personality made everyone feel welcome. She was blessed to work alongside her mom and the family’s matriarch Grandma Jane Braddock cleaning houses in her younger years. She enjoyed cleaning, listening to music and dancing but most of all writing in her journals. While she enjoyed these things in life her greatest love was for her family. LISA was a friendly, loving and understanding mother who adored her children, Mario, Anastasia and Maurice. She loved her grandchildren Bentley, Marley and Kaylb. She was affectionately called “Seesa” by her granddaughter. LISA loved her mother and her siblings and could always be found smiling and laughing with them. Her contagious smile and bright eyes would light up the room. LISA departed this life on Monday, December 23, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Jane Braddock, her aunt, Amanda Grant and two uncles, Joe Flint and Robert Frazier.

SHE LEAVES TO CHERISH HER MEMORY: her loving mother, Emma Lee Bert; her children, Mario, Anastasia and Maurice; her grandchildren, Bentley, Marley and Kaylb; her siblings, Vicki (Fred) Cochran-Walker of St. Louis, MO. Gary (Cynthia) Cochran of Lake Worth, FL. Denise Lindsey of Fort Worth, Texas and Antony (Maureen) Bert of Kansas City, MO;one aunt, Connie Frazier and a host of other relatives and friends.
