Lisa Michelle Whiteshield

Lisa Michelle Whiteshield, passed away July 10, 2018, unexpectedly in her sleep, at her home in Independence, Missouri.

Lisa was born December 13, 1962 in Fort Ord, California. She grew up, attended schools and resided in Independence, MO most of her life. She also lived in Miami, OK for a short time. Lisa worked at various restaurants in Independence and Miami.

Lisa loved taking long walks with her husband Kish as they enjoyed the sights and sounds of nature watching squirrels and other wildlife scamper while they captured the beauty of the outdoors. She was an outstanding cook. She also enjoyed watching Food Network on TV, reading and Sunday afternoon telephone calls with family and friends.

Lisa married Scott Amos of Independence, Missouri and they later divorced.

Lisa was united in marriage to Kish Whiteshield on June 1, 2007 in Independence, MO and he survives of the home.

Additional survivors include one daughter Lindsey Frazier and husband Matthew, Liberty, MO; one son Bradley Amos, Liberty, MO; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Bonnie Haynes, Stockton, MO; her father and stepmother Tom and Mary Allen, Miami, OK; two brothers, Steve Allen, Lawton OK, and Brandon Haynes, Stockton, MO; and one sister, Joannie Reeves, Miami OK.

Lisa was preceded in death by her beloved step father Floyd Haynes; maternal grandparents Elmer and Leota Andrews and paternal grandparents Jim and Helen Allen.
