Loretta Joyce Wright

Loretta “Joyce” Dosier- Wright 73, passed away on February 1, 2019 at Providence Hospital, in Kansas City, KS. She was born August 2,1945 in Kansas City, KS to Lee Grant Dosler and Georgia Ann Dosler. She grew up in Kansas City, KS. She graduated from Sumner High School in Kansas City, KS. After school she attended Donnelly College and St. Mary’s in KCK where she received a B.S. degree. She began work for Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Department for 15 years, also a High School Instructor for Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools for 5 years. She retired in 2008 after 15 years. She was an active member of the Soror of Delta Sigma Theta also of the Methodist Church. She married Donald Wright in Kansas City, Kansas.

She was preceded into death by both parents, brother Lee G. Dosler, that she loved dearly, sister Shirley Ann Green, oldest daughter Denise Antionette Dosler, son Albert Lee Williams Jr., Don Wright, Edward L. Green, nephew, Patricia Madeline Green, niece.

She is survived by her daughter Valerie Yvette Williams, granddaughter Courtney Leanne Williams, grandson Gregory Dean Limon, great granddaughter Nyla Camille Sharp, niece Jacqueline Elaine Green, nephew Donald A. Dosler, nephew James Green III. Prior to her passing she was a foster grandparent with Catholic Charities.
