Louella Tatum

Louella (Reed) Tatum departed this life on Sunday March 16, 2025. She was born June 10, 1945, in Columbia, Louisiana to Henry Reed Sr and Margaret (Minor) Reed. She was preceded in death by both parents and three brothers Johnny Reed, Laundry Reed and Henry Reed Jr. Two sisters Betty (Reed) Yearby and Gloria (Reed) Blankenship. Louella graduated from Union Central High School in Columbia, Louisiana in 1963 prior to moving to Kansas City, Missouri in the fall  of 1969 where she was joined by her husband Mr. Willie E. Tatum. Louella worked numerous jobs before she settled in with over 20 years of service with The House of Lloyd in Grandview, Missouri. Louella enjoyed looking after her husband, the casino's, traveling, crossword puzzles, caring for her grand and great-grandchildren as well  providing wise council to her kids, nieces and nephews. She leaves to cherish her memory: Her husband Willie Tatum  of Kansas City, MO. Four Children Louis Minor (Mary) of Kansas City, MO. Willie Reed (LeAndrea) of Kansas City, MO. Theresa Franklin of Kansas City, MO. Elizabeth Leflore (Marcus) of Kansas City, MO. One sister Nadine Bridgman of Chicago, IL. Six grandchildren Willie Reed Jr (Jasmine), LaToya Reed, Bryce Leflore, Micheal Franklin, Marq Franklin and Jaden Reed of Kansas City, MO. Seven great-grandchildren Nathaiel Reed, Nichlos Reed, Noah Reed, Nasir Reed, Shy'la Johnson, William Johnson, Kayden Johnson as well as   a host of nieces, nephews, other  relatives and friends.
