Louis C. Walker Jr.

Louis (Pierre) C. Walker Jr., 63, departed this life on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospice Care in Kansas City, Missouri.

Pierre was preceded in death by his father, Louis C. Walker Sr., as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Pierre was educated in Kansas City, Missouri Public Schools, and continued his studies in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned his associate's degree in Fashion Marketing. Pierre’s passion for the field led him abroad to London, England, where he completed his bachelor's degree in Fashion Marketing on May 14, 1994.

Pierre enjoyed decorating and fashion, and he had a remarkable gift for transforming discarded items into beautiful pieces. He loved to dress up and was always sharp from head toe. He cared for his mother until his health declined. Louis (Pierre) was loved by everyone who knew him; he was truly the life of the party.

Pierre leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Alma J. Walker; two sisters, Brenda Newsome (John) and Cheryl Walker DeBerry (Mark); two nephews, Louis F. Williams III (Gina) and Robert L. DeBerry III (Terea); two nieces, Yolanda Williams and Tamika Buycks (Derrick); two great-nieces, RemyDi Greathouse and Robynn DeBerry; three great-nephews, Robert L. DeBerry IV, Derrick Buycks Jr., and Louis F. Williams IV; one great-great-niece, Khole Daniels Buycks and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
