Louise Revel age 98 was born October 23, 1921, in Longview, Texas to Dave Williams and Ludie Ford. She was the oldest of 4 children born to this union. Louise completed her early education in Longview prior to moving to Kansas City in 1948 at the age of 18.

While in Kansas City she was employed in various labor positions. She also worked at Superior Toy Company for 25 years before retiring from Leather Novelty and Plastics Company of Kansas City, Missouri.

She found the love of her life when she met and married Richard Revels May 23, 1971. He treated her as his queen and she likewise him her king. Their lives were filled with mutual adoration and love of God. Traveling and being together highlighted this relationship and Louise missed him upon his transition. No children were born to this union.

Louise was a faithful member of Gregg Tabernacle A.M.E. Church of Kansas City, Missouri serving on the Usher Board and other committees for over 40 years. She was also an Inaugural Member of the TJB Foundation, Inc. Unsung Octogenarian Character Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, Siblings Rosealee, Murilene, Margaret and Olantha as well as her God-Daughter Bennie L. Love.

She leaves to cherish her memory step sisters Lillian (Andrew) of Tyler, TX. Faye (Levi), Gloria (Charlie) and Naomi of Longview, Texas;  God-Daughter Mae Ross, grandchildren Gregory, Scott and Todd; 13 great-grandchildren; Special friends Maceo and Delores Jones, Bernice Dottery, Georgia Jackson; Special nieces Shelia, Leah, Lydia and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church members.
