Lucinda Allen

Lucinda Allen, 53, passed away on December 10, 2019 at her home in Kansas City, MO. She was born February 5, 1966 in Kansas City, MO to Steve Allen Sr. and Evelyn Allen. She grew up in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Southwest High School.

She worked for a number of years with Play Wright Day Care Center, South Park Nursing Home, and Better Business Men Insurance Company. But the job she enjoyed most, was taking care of everyone else.

Cindy (Lucy) loved spending time with her grandbabies along with hanging out with her brothers and sisters. Family was everything to her and she believed in

“taking care of your people”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve Allen Sr., Evelyn Allen; brother, Reginald McConnell, sisters, Evonne McConnell, Gail Allen, and nephew Demetericus Morris.

She is survived by her daughter, Whitney Campbell (Brett); grandchildren, Kyleigh and Ayden Campbell; sisters Vicky, Veronica, Carol, Mary, Debbie Allen, Beverly Grace, Arnetta Morris; brothers Steve Allen Jr and Albert McConnell; along with a host of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
