Luther Davis

Mr. Luther Davis, affectionately known as, "Pops", age 67, passed away on March 27, 2025 at University Health in Kansas City, MO. "Pops" was born on July 23, 1957 in Catron, MO to Flyzell Davis and Mary Ann Brown. He grew up in Cape Girardeau, MO. Early in life, "Pops" and family moved to Kansas City, MO where he graduated from Central High School. After high school, he joined the United States Army in 1975, and served for 3 yrs.

On May 24, 1984, "Pops", was blessed to marry the love of his life, Barbara Ann Wright, to this union 8 children were born. They were happily married for 40 years until God called her home.

"Pops" was preceded in death by both his parents, his wife, three bothers and one sister.

Left to cherish "Pops" memory; eight children: Steven McKay, Luther Davis (Naylean), Danielle Lieto (Herman), Arnita Kelley, Richard Davis, Raymond Davis, Brandon Davis (Nya) and Jeffrey Davis; seven brothers, four sisters, 50 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
