Maria E. Cordero-Estrada

Maria Estrada Cordero, 61, passed away on June 25, 2024, at her home in Overland Park, KS. She was born on November 8, 1962, in Acapulco, Guerrero to Nahum Cordero Pita and Maria Estela Becerra Sanmillan. She grew up in Acapulco, Guerrero. She graduated from Escuela Secundaria Tecnica 5 in Acapulco, Guerrero.

After high school she attended El centro de estudios tecnologicos industrial y de servicios 41 in Acapulco, Guerrero where she received a associates in administracion de empresas turisticas. She began her own business, called Corderos cleaning services after moving to Kansas in 1993. She was involved in Jehova’s witness community.

She married Santiago Estrada on July 6th, in Acapulco, Guerrero. They were happily married for 38 years.

She was preceded into death by her father, Nahum Cordero Pita.

She is survived by her mother Maria Estela, husband Santiago Estrada, her daughter Dalia Estrada, her son Santiago Jacob Estrada, sister Nadia, Olivia, Maria Estela, her brothers Marcos, Justino, Jose.

A memorial service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on July 5, 2024 at 2:00PM. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on July 5, 2024 at 1:00PM. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at 1:00PM.

In Lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Dalia Estrada or Cordeo's Cleaning Services. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the friends and relatives who have supported us with food and donations for the funeral expenses. Also to Crossroad Hospice whose staff ( Kathy, Jen, and Elle ) helped us get through this very difficult time.
