Sis. Marjorie Azzalee Patton, 82, passed away on December 28, 2024, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. She was born on December 24, 1942, in Kiblah, Arkansas to the late Champion Stuckey and Mildred Stuckey.

Marjorie was educated in the Kiblah, Arkansas School District, where she graduated in 1962.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Lee E. Patton, one daughter, Annette Woods, 2 grandsons: Jerome Pittman and Terrell Henderson, 2 brothers: Morris Stuckey and Willis Stuckey, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Marjorie moved to Kansas City, Missouri and married her first love, Lee E. Patton, on February 13, 1964. To this union four beautiful children were born.

Marjorie held numerous jobs including childcare and PCA work. She had a passion for cooking, which everyone loved. She began sewing at an early age and became a very talented and creative seamstress and continued until she decided to retire in 2005. She also enjoyed playing and spending time with her great grandchildren.

She belonged to Bethlehem Baptist Church in Louisiana. She moved her membership to Memorial Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO. She was a member of the United Believers Community Church in Kansas City, MO, until her health began to fail.

She will truly be missed by her loving son, Derrick W. Patton; loving stepson Michael Birts; 2 loving daughters: Phelistia Patton, who was her caregiver and BFF, and Cynthia Stallings; and her stepdaughter Regina Rainey; 4 loving brothers: Thomas Stuckey, Sr., (Shandra), Calvin Stuckey (Elaine), Theodore Stuckey, William Stuckey, Sr.; 5 loving sisters: Cleo Henderson, Clara Barnes, Barbara Wiggins, Joyce Reid, Winnie Stuckey sons-in-law, Gary Stallings, Sr., who was also her godson and Clarence Woods; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren;; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives, and friends
