Marsha F. Garner

Marsha Garner was born to the union of Mary and Frank Looney on December 22nd,1950 in Nowata Oklahoma. Both parents one brother, sister, and her late husband Joseph (champ) Garner preceded her in death. She was educated in the Kansas City, Mo school district, and graduated from Southeast high school in 1969. After completing high school Marsha married her late husband, Joseph T on June 19th, 1969, and to this union they had a daughter and two sons; Shawn Garner, Joseph Garner Jr and Frank Garner.

Marsha accepted Christ at an early age and later joined Metropolitan Baptist church where she served faithfully until her health declined.

After she began working at the post office, later went on to begin her nursing career at Research Medical Center, along with private duty Nursing from 1974 until 2010. Marsha was also a serving member of the Morning Star. Marsha loved to decorate and throw extravagant parties for her family, friend, and loved being the life of the party.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Shawn Garner, her sons Joseph Graner Jr, Frank Garner (Ubi), her love of 32 years Richard Harris, and her brother Billy Williams of Des Moines, Iowa (Priscilla). Grandchildren, Martin Garner, Shawnice Porter, Frank Garner, Sherell Bell, Terrell Curtis, Shawn Stroud, Enchante Garner, Courtney Wright, Alexis Garner, Daishia Garner, Yeri Garner, Nyra Garner and Jolie Garner. Great-grandchildren, Maddox Wayne-Garner, Khalid Bright, Shiloh Stroud, Jazlynn, Nyaa, Jerell Jr., and baby III. She also leaves to Cherish her best friend, Sharon Johnson.
