Michael Lee Bradford

Michael Lee Bradford, 46, passed away on March 29, 2026, at home in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born February 15,1980, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Bobby Dean Sowells and Linda Faye Bradford.

Michael grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He received his GED shortly after the age of 18 from Job Corps of Kansas City. Michael learned trades of forklifts, and working on heavy machinery. He executed those trades and became a supervisor at Vangard Packaging, in Grandview, Missouri from 2019 until his passing. He also was a supervisor doing machine work at Niagara Bottling in Kansas City for 5 years.

Michael took on a trade of remodeling homes which is something he enjoyed. He loved listening to music, spending time with family, and he loved to have a great conversation. Michael was for sure the people’s favorite person to be around. He enjoyed time with his children and loved them dearly.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Dean Sowells; brother, Charles (Charlie) Bradford; nephew, Charles (Lil’ Chuck) Bradford.

Michael is survived by his mother, Linda Faye Butler (Cedric Butler); wife, Stefanie Bradford; son, Michael (Lil’ Mike) Bradford; daughter, Monhae Bradford; stepson, Marquan Alexander Wolf; stepdaughter, Taliyah Henderson; brothers: Melvin Bradford, Darryl Morris, DeAndre Sowells, and Bobby Fields; sisters: Bobbie Jean Bradford, Crystal Bailey, and Yolanda Sowells, and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
