"Taken from us all too soon." Our "beloved," son of Clarence Patrick Henry, and Mary Ellen Elder, brother of Jennifer Nichoel Gamm, uncle of "Precocious" Katherine Elizabeth Henry, daddy to Alexander Michael Elder, with Brittany Sonya Elder, Lillian Annelise Elder, and Adrian Xavier Elder, with Michelle Behney love to Rebekah Ann Prentice, grandson of Evelyn May Hoenshell and nephew of Robert Vernon Hill, many cousins and many friends. Michael will be joining his grandfather, Robert Donald Hill and niewces Victoria Marie and Isabelle Juiliette Wilburn and many loved ones. He will lie forever in our hearts, souls, and memories. His aspirations were many as a child astronaut, firefighter, doctor, pilot, architect and chef. As a child, he loved anything that he could take apart (locks, the vacuum, or anything mechanical) Legos, golf, everything Tonka, soccer, his bike, mudding and swimming. He was a ham, jokester and loved his picture taken as long as he picked the pose, his dog Bear. As an Adult he built houses without power tools, worked in construction, renovation and armed security. He wanted a self sufficient farm. His children meant everything to him. He loved being a daddy most of all, teaching them new things and marveling in their intellect. Tucking them in at night and seeing their smiling faces every morning. Michael was an adrenaline junkie and lived to "Drive it like he stole it!" He had "eagle eyes" which made him an excellent marksman and golfer. Michael was an amazing chef and enjoyed creating gourmet masterpieces. Katherine says, "He was the greatest cook!" Michael was a computer whiz and a mechanical genius from birth. He could fix anything. Michael liked to tell jokes and play practical jokes (blue Kool-Aid in the shower head takes days to get off skin). Michael wrote poetry, songs, and stories. He loved to draw and make chain mail, and jewelry. Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to play Minecraft, Monopoly, Life, Zelda, Skyrim, Final Fantasy, and drinking games to name a few. Some of his favorite movies, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Avatar, Teenage Ninja Turtles, Red, Underworld and Disney. Michael planned to own a Ducati, build a triwheel car and restore several old cars and trucks. Michael played alto saxophone and keyboard and was learning to play the violin, planning on moving forward to the bass guitar, piano, and drums. We will treasure all of the wonderful memories that we shared until we, "see you again." We love you Michael.
