Micheal V. Stewart passed away on July 4, at his home in Grandview, Missouri. He was born on October 8, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri to John D. Stewart Sr. and Willietta Hutton- Stewart.
Micheal grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and received his education from the Kansas City School District and graduated from Lincoln High School. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served for 4 years and achieved the rank of PFC (P). After many years working odd jobs, he began working for himself as an entrepreneur.
He was involved in his church, the Salvation Army Southland Corp (Church) at Booth Manor under the leadership of Minister Brenda McCoy. He was president over the men’s ministry and started at Booth Manor Saturday Night Live where he provided entertainment, food, fun, and games.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John D. Stewart Sr. and Willetta Hutton Stewart; his brothers: John D. Stewart Jr., Melvin U. Stewart, Donald R. Stewart; his sisters: Johnetta V. Stewart-Patterson, and Sandra N. Stewart. He is survived by his sister, Kathy Bell, of Riverside, Missouri, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
