Michael Thompson

Micheal Calvin Thompson of Lee's Summit MO passed from this life to the next on December 5 th, 2016 at St. Luke's East Hospital at the age of 64. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert Thompson and Elsie (Bolden) Thompson. Micheal is survived by his loving wife Rose T. (Ochoa) Thompson of 8 years. They were married on December 5th, 2008. Micheal is lovingly remembered by his wife Rose of Lee's Summit; sisters Alberteen Jones and Emma Dawson; brother Dr. David (Patricia) Thompson; sons Micheal Jr. (Rebecca), Joseph, and Christopher Thompson; sons Paul and Matt Lindgren; daughter Sarah Lindgren; grandchildren Gabriel, Christopher Jr., Jayden, and Alaina; and many loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Micheal was born in Topeka, KS in 1952. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1970 and went on to earn his associates degree at Fort Scott Junior College where he starred as All American Wide Receiver National Championship of 1970. He worked as a warehouseman at International Code Conference in Lenexa, KS. Micheal was baptized at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, in Topeka KS at a very young age and was an active member at Mission Road Bible Church of Prairie Village, KS where he dedicated his life to the Lord. Mission Road Bible Church family was very near and dear to his heart.
