Mikila Lewis

Mikila Marquninia Renee Lewis was born April 8, 1988 in Kansas City, MO to the union of Elaine Lewis and Calvin Walker. She passed away May 17, 2016. She was educated in the Kansas City, MO School District. Mikila accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Community Progressive Baptist Church and later joined Community Fellowship Church of Jesus Christ under the leadership of Bishop Saundra McFadden-Weaver. Her career life was spent with Yanfeng in Riverside Missouri as a material handler. Mikala's years of working reflected her high energy and positive self-esteem. Mikila's family life was always her center most focus. Mikila was greeted at heaven's gates by her maternal grandparents Charles and Zipporah Lewis, Godmother Faith Ealey and gracious mentor and role model Joyce Parker. Mikila was always loved and will be missed and remembered by many. She leaves to cherish fond memories: Both parents, her one son Joshua Lewis (9) , her one loving daughter Ka'Mya Lewis(8), two brothers Victor Lewis, Chris Woods, two sisters Ashley Lewis, Chavonne Woods, three nieces, one nephew, a "special chosen dad" Chess Crutcher and a host of other loving relative and friends.
