Mildred L. Terry

Mildred Terry, (56), passed away on May 15, 2024, at Saint Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City Mo. She was born on January 24,1968, to Roy McCullough and Mary Knight in Kansas City Mo.

She received her GED and continued her education by earning her Professional Development License in Childcare. She used her license to open her own Childcare business, Makin-Away-Childcare LLC, that she was proud of for over 20 years.

She was preceded into death by both parents Mary Knight and Roy McCullough.

She is survived by her lifetime partner and soulmate, Ira Taylor; her children, Keisha Dunn (Walter), Jasmine Stevens (Jerrell), Krystea Taylor, and others she has taken in as her own; her grandchildren, Jazlyne Farmer, Mileek Harris, and Brooklynn Stevens; a dedicated auntie, Martha D. Nelson; her siblings, Fontella Nelson, Roy McCanse, James Nelson, Rosalind Black, Annette Black, Faye Black-Walls (Eugene), Chester Black (Janel), Timothy Matthews (Stephanie), Cheryl Roy, Raechelle Ligans, Roy Smith, Roy Pounds, NaShay McGuire, Jerrell McCullough, and a host of other siblings, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
