Milee Millicent Campbell, affectionatel):'. called "Cookie" and Mother Campbell was born in Silent Hill in Manchester on April 14, 1922. She was the 4th of 5 children born to parents Joseph and Florence Powell who all preceded her in death. Her father was a Deacon in the Moravian Church and he died when she was very young. However before his death he admonished her to serve the Lord and prophesied that she would live a lon_2 life. This she did having celebrated 100 years in A_I!ril 2022: Sister Campbell loved children not just ber own. Her home was always filleil. She was literally a mother to many others such as Aston Stephens (Ducky), Estelle Williams Kerr and Michael Stewart (Steve) whose lives are forever changed due to her Acts of Kindness. Milee accepted the Lord as her personal Savior on Good Friday in 1949 and never looked back. For the past 73 years, she served the Lord with gladness. She always said tliat Goodness and Mercy were her friends. She led many to the Lord and for sure will have many stars in her crown. Sister Campbell was a Stalwart well respected in the church of the First Born Family. She was head cook in the church and was responsible for f eedmg the pastors and the congregation at several church events. She served mto this voluntary capacity for over 30 years when she migrated to the United States in 2002. Interestingiy she was responsible for the naming of the Church of the First Born Conference Center in Clarendon. During the first convention meeting at this campground, Sister Campbell ran from the kitchen info the meeting and declared the name to be "Canaan". This was unanimously accepted by all. Her favorite music were the songs of Jim Reeves and the Chuck Wagon Gang. Milee leaves behind 7 biological children and their s ouses Latham Campbell (Vannette), Norma St. Jean (Franco's), p Maureen Harrison, Glenford Caf!Ipbell (Sonia), Grace Armstrong, Clifford Campbell (Rosalie) and Michelle Tinsley (Gary), 22 grandchildren, lots of great grand children and manr nieces, nephews, and a host of grand and great _grand meces and nephews. Milee will be missed. She will l>e missed for her words of encouragement, her solid words of good council, her cooking, her persistence, and the special ways in which she made a difference in the lives of others. We know that she was ready to go. To fly away and be with her Heavenly Father and we can say Tor sure, she is home at last. She has fo(!gltt a good fight, she has ran the race and finished the course and NOW there is in store a crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous Judge will g_ive her on that day. Milee lived a full life and died full or years. --She is aslee_p in Clirist! HER SOUL IS RESTING IN PEACE!
